There is also a bathroom off the main living area and the patio windows on two sides lead out to the garden and past the palapa to a studio apartment above a large storage room. The studio apartment has a small kitchen, bathroom and shower that could be rented out. At the front of the apartment is an enclosed garage.

The three large bedrooms are on the third floor reached by a spiral staircase. Each has an en-suite modern bathroom and two have balconies where you can sit and enjoy the greenery all around the house.

The property is in a multi-National community with restaurants, grocery and hardware stores, their own newspaper and channel TV station. You can go horse riding, quad biking, snorkeling and even surfing when the tide is right. There is a community office, and the golf club is a popular meeting place. It is also close to the main city of Puerto Plata and about thirty minutes away from Sosua and the popular kite surfing resort of Cabarete.
